In this video, we set the scene for why project management is an effective methodology for getting your project off the ground, what project management is and how we define a project. By the end of this video, you will have a practice project in mind to be able to practice using the templates that will follow in the remainder of the video series below.

Initiate the Project - Project Canvas
In this video we cover the first stage of the Project Lifecycle - Initiate the Project - with a tool called Project Canvas. We can use Project Canvas to clearly define the project, have a complete overview of a project, remain focused, and allows others to understand what is being asked of them. By the end of this video, you will have a go at completing a Project Canvas with your chosen practice project.

In this video, we will look at a set of tools that form part of the Project Plan or Project Workbook - an amalgamation of documents that help you to plan, monitor and execute the project.
